An AI Content-and-Authority Platform With a Four-Provider Fallback Chain and an MCP Server
The Challenge
Selling enterprise AI-context consulting to VPs of Engineering, CTOs and CISOs means demonstrating authority at scale: a deep, well-cited body of frameworks, governance guidance and a technical dictionary that ranks, stays fresh, and can be trusted. Producing that by hand does not scale, and producing it with a single LLM is both fragile (one provider outage stops everything) and dangerous (LLMs invent citations). The platform had to generate and continuously improve a large content corpus across three sister sites, survive any one AI provider failing, refuse to publish fabricated sources, and expose the whole knowledge base to external AI agents.
The Solution
ECM is a Laravel platform whose content engine runs on a resilient four-rung AI chain: it walks Groq to Gemini to OpenAI to Anthropic, skipping any provider without a key and falling through on any error or timeout, so generation is cheap-first and never single-provider-fragile. A nightly cron pipeline generates, improves and de-duplicates articles and dictionary terms — with per-section word-count floors and hard length caps — and feeds content to three sister sites. A deterministic citation verifier does DNS and HTTP checks on every LLM-produced source URL and drops hallucinated or dead links before anything is stored. On top, a JSON-RPC MCP server exposes seven tools so external AI agents can query the articles, categories and dictionary, and an AI-assisted contact flow captures and qualifies leads.
